Geoff:I was born in Madera county and was very blessed to have been raised around the ag & livestock industry.  Our family had horses & mules where I was taught the art of packing & working cattle. In college I was an Animal Science major Fresno State with focus on nutrition. This opened the door for a career path in the livestock supplement business handling customer service, sales, marketing in the  beef & dairy industry.Together with my wife of 36 years, Tammy, and I have raised 6 children.  As we home schooled our children, our PE program consisted of horsemanship & sportsmanship.  On weekends we would travel to different arenas in Central California where our children would compete in gymkhana’s & junior rodeos.

Together we have developed a small catering business that tailors itself to authentic cowboy style cooking while maintaining a high level of fresh quality foods.

I have also been instrumental in organizing & producing approximately 15 Christian music concerts ranging in size from small venues with 200+ attending to large outdoor festivals with nearly 7,000 attending. These venues have helped me to hone organizational skills for music & arts public events.

I am retired 1 year and look forward to the adventures everyday life brings forth. The Raymond Old West Fest is a three and one half year dream we have shared & discussed. The time has come to step out and help make it an enjoyable historical learning experience for all!

Tammy:
I grew up in the San Fernando Valley in So. Cal  and moved to Madera County in 1976. While in high school I had the opportunity to ride in the Coarsegold Rodeo Gymkhana, I love horses and the cowboy way.   I met Geoff at a young farmers and ranchers dinner in 1979, Geoff was managing a cattle ranch that year. We both love the outdoors and married in July 1980. We have lived in Raymond for twelve years and have come to love the people of this historic little town. Geoff and I conceived this idea and could not think of a better way to celebrate the uniqueness of our community, with an opportunity to give back, than a cowboy music and poetry venue. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as we have enjoyed planning it.
